Virtual

Tuesday, February 20, 2018 2:00 PM ~ 3:30 PM ET

Planning for sustainability is not a separate add-on activity to do at the end of your grant. In fact, you’re doing “sustainability” every day. Learn how to differentiate your day-to-day TechHire efforts as you think about long-term success. Hear from your peers who have been here before and have great wisdom and lessons to share.

Description

The opening plenary will review the logistics of this 3-week Virtual Institute, including the schedule, learning objectives, and expectations. The TA team will re-introduce the Golden Circle concept on sustainability, which examines the “what, how and why” of sustainability planning. This discussion will build upon the presentation that was conducted by Courtney Barthle of ICF, during the summer 2017 TechHire grantee convening, with a much deeper discussion of how this work can be accomplished within the context of TechHire projects.

A panel of grantees with strong experience in developing and executing a sustainability plan will share their experiences and take questions from the community.

Agenda:
